Valla Cranes is one of the world’s leading designers and manufacturers of industrial pick and carry cranes.
The company, located near Piacenza in Italy, designed and built the first electric battery powered industrial crane. It is now part of the Manitex International group of companies and sells cranes around the world.
The authorised dealer for Valla Cranes in the UK and Ireland is Hird Ltd. The company has more than 35 years’ experience in crane lifting and is the global authorised dealer of Valla aviation cranes.

After-sales support and training
Hird provides excellent after-sales support, including technical advice, service and maintenance, PUWER, LOLER testing, examination, and crane refurbishment.
Hird also provides CPCS accredited compact crane operator training, plus a wide range of other courses. Training is delivered at our four training centres across the UK, or at client locations, if they are appropriate.
