Leading machine relocation and installation specialist Vanguard VML Group has bought three Manitex Valla pick and carry cranes as it expands its services across the UK.
Following a technical review of mini cranes on the market, the company, which has its HQ in Bridgend, South Wales, has taken delivery of a Valla 120E with a fly jib, a Valla 90E and a Valla 20E.
The mini cranes will be put to work supporting clients who benefit from Vanguard VML Group’s expertise in dismantling, moving and installing machinery both in the UK and internationally.
A Vanguard VML Group spokesperson said: “Valla Cranes give us the best technical lifting solution to carry out the range and complexity of the machinery lifting tasks our teams carry out every day, in an increasingly diverse manufacturing sector customer base.
“Their safety, reliability, and lifting capability is excellent. Also, the robust design and the ease-of-upgrade of Valla pick and carry cranes means we expect them to give us many years of productive service.”
The three cranes give Vanguard VML Group lifting capability right across the Valla mini crane range. The Valla 120E has a safe working load (SWL) of 12 tonnes, the 90E a SWL of 9 tonnes and the 20E a SWL of 2 tonnes.
All are DC-electric cranes, so deliver fume-free, sustainable lifting, whether operated in buildings or outside. They are also fitted with the latest COBO 3B6 digital load monitoring systems.
The mini cranes have been supplied by Hird, the authorised distributor for the Italian-made machines in the United Kingdom and Ireland.
Hird Crane Sales and After-sales Manager Carl Cooper said: “We’re delighted that Vanguard VML Group has selected Manitex Valla Cranes. It is an indication of the trust put in Valla by specialist lifting companies around the world.
“These industrial cranes are specifically designed to deliver unrivalled lifting capability and manoeuvrability while being operated in confined and complex spaces often found in factory environments.”
Vanguard VML Group’s new fleet of Valla Cranes will benefit from excellent service support from Hird’s team of mobile crane engineers, ensuring maximum operational performance and productivity.
