Valla Cranes customer RRS has taken delivery of its second Valla mini crane in a month – with the purchase of the Valla 180E pick and carry crane.
Last month, we reported how RRS, Rapid Response Solutions, based in Portsmouth, had added a Valla 120ES compact crane to its mini crane hire fleet.
Now that growing crane hire fleet has been extended further with the acquisition of the company’s biggest mini crane so far.
The Valla 180E is one of the big beasts of the Valla mini crane fleet with a maximum safe lifting weight of 18 tonnes.
Yet it retains the benefits of smaller Valla mini cranes on the market – in that it is a compact crane that’s ideal for operating in confined areas.
RRS has added to the mini crane’s capabilities by taking the option of having an additional hydraulic fly jib, with its latest model.
This extends these pick and carry cranes’ reach, giving them even better up and over lifting capability, especially where ceiling height is limited.
“We have contracts with the armed forces, including the Army and the Royal Navy, and they throw some interesting lifting challenges at us. I believe this pick and carry crane will give us some ideal solutions.”
RRS values the reliability of Valla mini cranes, and their proven safety featured, with include a full 3B6 load monitoring system fitted as standard.
The Valla 180E is electric-powered so provides fume-free quiet-running operation, making it ideal for use indoors, in clean environments, and where intrinsic safety is required.
The mini crane is ideal for a range of uses, including aircraft maintenance, glass installation, curtain wall fabrication, stone processing, steel works, facilities management and petro-chemical processing.
